Lobia curry .


Lobia or cow beans is healthiest among all types of beans .The particular creamy white bean having a black eye is recognized as its function as high quality anti-oxidant.It reduces the plasma cholesterol in our body and are a low-fat as well as low-calorie food items, which makes them a nutritious accessory for a weight-loss diet plan so it is treated as best weight loss ingredient.So today here we are going to make it tastier more by adding some Indian spices.

Preparation Time:30 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes
Serves - 4 to 5

Ingredients:
Lobia soaked overnight and cooked in pressure cooker for 10 to 15 minutes - 150 grams
Onion - 1 big finely chopped
Blanched tomato - 2 big finely chopped
ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
chole masala - 1 tsp
red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
cinnamon (dalchini) powder - 1/4 tsp
nutmeg powder - a pinch
oil - 1 tbsp
kasuri methi - 1 tsp
cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
hing - 1 pinch
salt to taste
water as required

Method of Preparation:
1.Heat oil in a pan ,add cumin seeds , hing ,chopped onion and fry till onion turns golden brown.
2.Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes.
3.Add turmeric powder , red chili powder , coriander powder , chana masala and fry for 1 minute.
4.Add chopped tomato mix it properly and fry for 10 minutes .
5.Add boiled lobia mix well and cook for another 5 minutes in low flame.
6.Add water , and cook for 2 more minutes.
7.Add nutmeg powder , cinnamon powder , kasuri methi and mix properly.
8.Serve hot with steamed rice or roti of your choice.
