Jeera rice- classic indian rice.

Jeera rice is one of the finest rice recipe which goes with almost all the side dish and tastes great.The use of cumin seeds(jeera) makes it aromatic .The nice aroma of it attracts you to have it must in lunch .Any of the famous dishes like dal makhni , shahi paneer , chana masala gravy , gobi masala tastes awesome when served with jeera rice.It is very very easy to prepare and also takes very less time.

Preparation time: 20 to 30 minutes
Cooking time : 5 minutes
Serves - 4

Ingredients:
Basmati Rice - 100 grams
Jeera - 1 tsp
oil - 1tbsp
salt to taste
Enough water for cooking basmati rice.

Method of preparations:
1.Cook basmati rice with enough water for 20 minutes or till the rice get boiled.
2.Heat oil in a kadhai , add jeera to splutter , add boiled rice and mix properly .
3.Cook it for 5 minutes by adding salt to taste .
4.Serve hot with gravies like chana masala or rajma masala.
