Jhatpat Aloo ki subji .
When you don't have enough time to prepare any delicious dish and you want to have it than try this easy potato curry.It takes very less time to prepare as well as cook and tasty too.
Preparation Time:10 minutes
Cooking time : 15 minutes
Serves - 2 to 3
Ingredients:
Boiled baby potato - 20 to 30
ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
tomato puree - 4 tbsp
red chili powder - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
curry powder - 1 tsp
garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
curry leaves - 5 to 7
red chili - 2 to 3
cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
oil - 1 tbsp
water - 1/2 cup
salt to taste
Method of Preparations:
1.Heat oil in a pan ,add cumin seeds , red chili , and curry leaves and fry for 1 minute.
2.Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes.
3.Add turmeric powder ,red chili powder , curry powder , and fry for 1 minute.
4.Add tomato puree and cook for 3 to 4 minutes more .
5.Add potato, salt to taste and water and cook till the gravy thickens.
6.Sprinkle garam masala and remove from pan.
7.Serve hot with roti or steamed rice.

Vrat Ke aloo - potato curry dry for navratri
Preparation

roasted jeera powder- 1/2 teaspoon
red chili - 3 to 4
cumin seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
green chili- 2 chopped
ginger chopped- 1/2 teaspoon
black salt to taste
ghee - 1/2 tablespoon
coriander leaves for garnishing
Preparation:
1.Heat ghee in a pan,add chopped green chili , jeera,chopped ginger ,red chili and fry for a minute.
2.Add boiled potato , red chili powder , black salt to taste , roasted jeera powder and mix properly.
3.cook for 5 minutes ,garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Mathura Ke dubki wale aloo.

Cooking Time : Cooking time 10-15 minutes

Ingredients:
Boiled potato - 2 to 3 medium sized(crushed)
Dry ginger powder - 1/2 teaspoon
hing - pinch of
Green chili - 3 to 4(chopped)
cumin seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
salt to taste
water 1/2 cup
Refined oil - 1/2 tablespoon
coriander leaves for garnishing
Preparation:
1.Heat oil in a pan,add chopped green chili , hing , dry ginger powder and turmeric powder and fry for a minute.
2.Add water , salt to taste and crushed boiled potato .
3.Cook till the gravy thickens little bit (3-4 minutes).
4.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or khichdi.
